Where are you located?
Our main meeting point is at the Aquatic Park Pier at the end of Van Ness. However, our instructors may decide to start the class in a different location based on what they would like to do that day. It is best to email/call/text the instructor before you take your first class.
What do I wear?
Whatever you are comfortable working out in. We may go to the beach, play in the dirt, or even jump in the water (on those rare hot San Francisco days) so expect to get a little dirty. Some people prefer to wear workout gloves as we will be using our hands on hard surfaces.
I'm recovering from an injury, can I still participate?
Absolutely. We take great pride in modifying exercises for people who are or have recently been injured. Back pain, shin splints, knee pain, bad shoulders, we've dealt with them all.
What do I bring?
If you are prone to getting dehydrated then bring some water (resuable bottle preferred to reduce waste). We will collect any keys, phones, wallets, jackets, etc. and store them safely for you during class. Also required is a sense of adventure and a willingness to break out of your comfort zone.
It's raining outside, is there still class?
Do you remember when you were a child and would beg your parents to go play in the rain? Well now no begging is needed. Grab a lightweight rain jacket, a hat, some gloves and get ready to have some fun splashing in the puddles with your classmates!
Who do I contact if I'm lost?
It's a good idea to put your instructors cell phone number in your phone. If you can't find us give the instructor a call or text and we'll direct you where to go.
